Dr. Mark Jay Gang is a licensed psychologist in
Connecticut
. For the past thirty years he has been treating children, adolescents, adults, families and couples in
Fairfield
and
New Haven
Counties
. His practice treats a wide range of problems such as depression, anxiety, AD/HD, obsessive compulsive disorders, stress related adjustment problems as well as behavior difficulties related to childhood and adolescence. Dr. Gang specializes in Co-Parenting Divorce Mediation.
In addition to his general practice of psychology, Dr. Gang has served as a consultant to school systems, industry and the court. He has taught at several area universities and is best known for his cable television show that was in production for over twelve years. Dr. Gang has also lectured extensively in the area and has published several articles in the field of psychology.
He is also a member of the American and Connecticut Psychological Associations. He has also served on the American Board of Disability Consultants, and the Connecticut Task Force on Attention Deficit Disorders.
Please note: Effective August 2010, I will no longer be accepting new patients for psychological treatment. This is in preparation for my retirement, effective December 31, 2010. Until this time I will continue to treat and service my current patients.
For those patients who do not conclude their treatment by my retirement date, I will refer to other therapists to ensure continuity of care.
